Advice

Learn to manage time more efficiently, learn to set limitations, set small goals every day and work towards them. High school is not a great depiction of creating these habits as many students, including myself in my high school years studied the day before an exam and manage to pull A’s all throughout. This approach does not work in university, you need to keep a consistent work load on a daily basis in order to do well. Learn to be more approachable, meet new people; they really help you get through with assignments and studying for exams. Dont be afraid to ask more questions from your teachers in high school. Make plans to finish your assignments on time, there is no need to pull all nighters even in my 9 course workload/ semester program. Prioritizing your mental wellbeing and create an awareness for it, get enough sleep every night, eat well and to emphasize again, managing time is very important! I have talked to previous students in science academy who made it a habit to sleep at 2am to get work done, this is not efficient!

Advice

Never stop learning. Just because you pick a program or degree doesn't mean that's the only thing you should be committed to learning. Take some risks to expand your tool box. Learn to code, learn wood work, learn business, and learn how to bake.
